Hi, I'm John Paul, a 21-year-old full stack developer from Chennai, India. I'm pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Software Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, graduating in 2027. I work mostly with Next.js, React, Python, Supabase and Firebase.

I was Technical Lead at AwardX, a platform for competitions, grants and recognition programs, where I led a team of 12+ interns across frontend, backend, payments and deployment. At Mediatrix I started as a backend developer, integrating Supabase real-time services with React Native apps and building the Focus7 Fitness gym management system, then became Development Head and built a hackathon platform for 750+ participants. At Tendertulip Technologies I built Next.js and Tailwind CSS components and worked on backend integrations for 10+ client projects. Most recently I was an ML intern at Tech Mahindra, where I built a custom-trained model with Streamlit and PyQt interfaces that automates dashboard and instrument cluster validation. It is now in use at the ODC ELCOT office.

On campus, I was Technical Lead of the Cintel Association, where I helped run a Capture the Flag event and built hackathon and event websites with payment gateways. I was also a web developer for the Directorate of Alumni Affairs of SRM (DAA) and Cherry+ Network. In 2024 I presented two papers at the International BIT Conference (BITCON): one on deep-learning rainfall prediction for Chennai and one on secure file management with AWS EC2.
